General Questions Regarding our Services

Should I make a reservation for my treatment?
Yes, we are currently scheduling by appointment only during the following times: Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm and Friday-Saturday 9am-2pm.  We are closed on Sunday.

NOTE:  Our receptionists are available during 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm.  There are some occasions where the receptionist is away from her desk or we are closed due to additional training seminars, etc.  Please know that even if you call during non-working hours or are unable to reach our receptionist right away, we appreciate you leaving us a message.  We will return your call as soon as possible.

When should I arrive?
Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time.  Please be advised your treatment will end on time so the next client is not inconvenienced.

Is it possible to request a male or female therapist?
Heiwa Center will fulfill this request whenever possible to make your visit comfortable and relaxing.  We do suggest your request be made at the time of the reservation.

After treatment care.
Please drink plenty of water before and after any treatments received.  It is important to keep hydrated.  Following rigorous treatments, it is important that you rest and avoid any rigorous activity for at least one hour.

Quiet zone.
To ensure all clients a relaxing experience, we ask that you turn off cell phones and pagers and keep voices down while in common areas.

Service pricing.
Gratuities are left to your discretion and should be based on satisfaction of services.

What does "Heiwa" mean?
When deciding on a name for our business, we wanted to choose something different and meaningful.  "Heiwa" (pronounced HAY' wah) is the Japanese kanji symbol for peace.
